ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. — Ellsworth Air Force Base will conduct an emergency management exercise September 17 and 18.
The exercise is intended to evaluate the ability of the 28th Bomb Wing to respond to a chemical accident on the installation.
Residents on or near the installation may hear announcements over the “giant voice” system, sirens and response vehicles during the exercise. All assigned personnel, dependents, and visitors will take appropriate actions.
Motorists may experience delays entering and exiting the installation during the exercise. Everyone is asked to please plan to arrive early for appointments and call in advance to ensure appointments and services are not impacted.
