RAPID CITY, S.D. — The U.S. General Services Administration has awarded a 20-year-lease to Dream Design International to construct a new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The clinic at 6565 Mount Rushmore Road will address the specific needs and requirements for more than 7,000 veterans living in the area.

The roughly 49,000 square foot facility will include primary care, mental health, specialty care, women’s health, pharmacy care, audiology, laboratory services, and physical therapy.

“This announcement marks a significant milestone in this exciting project,” said Sandra Horsman, Director of the V.A. Black Hills Health Care System. “The new clinic will double the space of our current location, giving veterans and staff a spacious, efficient, and healing environment for care.”

The plan currently is to have the clinic operational and accepting patients in early 2023.
